Have you ever experienced a trial or testing immediately after choosing to step up and follow where Jesus was leading you?  What was it?  How did you feel and think about the trial/testing when it was happening?

What role do our expectations play in our confusion and frustration with God sometimes?

List a few different forces that impact our unrealistic expectations sometimes?

​

Have you ever experienced a season of your life that you thought was a write off only to discover later that it served a very significant purpose?  What was it?

 

Have you ever experienced being blindsided by how much a person impacted other people but you wouldn't have known based on that persons education, accomplishments, etc? Who were they?  What made their life so significant?

 

What do you think are some of the "small things" we do that are actually "big things" in the lives of other people and for the Kingdom of God?

 

Can you think of an area of your life right now where God can be glorified even if it doesn't turn out the way you want?  What is it, and how might God get glorified?

What is the upside for the human race to suppress the truth of God’s existence from what we see in creation?  Why would we do this?
