One common objection we hear about our strategy of gathering in homes however (instead of a worship service every Sunday) is that it would be too intimidating for new people to go to a "strangers" home.  We believe the key for new people to feel at home in a Catalyst group is for them to have a pre-existing relationship with a member of a Catalyst Group.

The image below illustrates some of the potential pathways we see for new people to find their way into Catalyst Groups.  These pathways are not linear as there are many possible pathways into a Catalyst Group.
